May Through September of 2013 will be a record five-month period with residents and visitors from across the nation celebrating the 150th Anniversary of Saratoga Race Course. The Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation introduces a Porch Decorating Contest in the Race Course gateway districts as part of the Saratoga 150 celebration!
Homeowners with porches in the Saratoga Race Course gateway districts are eligible for the contest. Boundaries of the gateway district are East Avenue between Union & Lake Avenues, Nelson Avenue, Union Avenue, and Circular Street between Park Street & Lake Avenue. Categories for entry include: Most Elegant, Most Track Inspired, Most Historically Accurate, and Wildcard.
