On SUNDAY AUGUST 22nd the Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation presents GOING DOWNTOWN: BROADWAY IN 1874, the seventh in a series of eleven walking tours of historic Saratoga Springs. Stroll with Gloria May as she leads a tour of Broadway, focusing on how it would have looked and sounded in 1874! A year of sophistication and excitement, in 1874, Saratoga was home to three grand hotels and a bustling society lifestyle. Walk back in time to discover what has changed and what has remained the same in fabulous Saratoga Springs!
Tour starts at 10:30 a.m. and lasts approximately 90 minutes. Meet at the northwest corner of Congress Street and Broadway, in front of the Talbots clothing store (307 Broadway).
